An early-stage, venture-backed AI startup developing an AI agent platform to automate workflows across the commercial insurance industry. The company has raised £8.5 million in pre-seed funding and is already working with several major global insurance brokers.
About the Role
The company is hiring a Founding Deployment Strategist to lead software implementation and customer deployments. The role involves end-to-end ownership of implementations, workflow configuration, pilot delivery, and stakeholder management.
The successful candidate will work directly with the founders and help establish the company's deployment processes and future team.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end software deployments at enterprise client sites.
Map existing business workflows and identify automation opportunities.
Configure AI agents to meet client requirements.
Manage implementation projects, user acceptance testing, and pilot rollouts.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders and client teams.
Translate customer feedback into product and process improvements.
Develop implementation playbooks and help build the deployment team.
Build AI-powered product demos and present solutions to clients.
Requirements
2–6 years of relevant professional experience.
Background in enterprise software implementation, deployment strategy, management consulting, or investment banking.
Bachelor's degree from a highly ranked international university.
Experience implementing software in large organisations.
Strong proficiency with AI tools, particularly Claude.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Ability to manage senior stakeholders and lead client engagements.
Comfort working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have
Experience at an early-stage startup during its zero-to-one phase.
Background as a Forward Deployed Engineer.
Experience at a large UK insurance brokerage.
A degree in science, engineering, or mathematics.
