About the Role
The company is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to own enterprise customer deployments end-to-end. The role combines backend engineering, data integrations, solution design, and direct customer engagement to bring AI-powered workflows into production.
Responsibilities
Owning post-sale onboarding and deployment from start to finish, from technical scoping through integration to user activation
Building customer integrations and data ingestion pipelines in Python and SQL to connect enterprise data to Rox's revenue agents
Running scoping and solution design sessions with GTM and RevOps teams to map complex workflows and set up high-impact POCs
Giving live demos, trainings, and solutioning sessions to both technical and business stakeholders, remotely and in person
Passing field insights to product and engineering to shape the roadmap, and building playbooks that help the team scale
Requirements
2–6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, FDE, or technical founder with SWE experience.
Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience building backend integrations and data pipelines.
B2B SaaS experience supporting technical customers pre- or post-sale.
Background in a startup, high-growth scale-up, or enterprise tech company.
Computer Science degree from a strong technical university preferred.
Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco for fully onsite work.
